The Coastal Bend Diabetes Initiative

CBDI has announced its seventh grant opportunity! Up to $90,000 is available for grants. Additional information and the Letter of Intent Form can be found on the Coastal Bend Community Foundation’s website, www.cbcfoundation.org. All eligible and interested non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply. The Letters of Intent are due April 17, 2012.

The Coastal Bend Diabetes Initiative is a partnership of medical professionals, community leaders and local industry. CBDI is a coordinated effort to reduce the occurrence of diabetes and diabetes-related illnesses in Corpus Christi through awareness, education and prevention. The Initiative has funded 33 projects in six cycles totaling over half a million dollars, with the first cycle beginning in 2007.

CBDI invites all those with innovative ideas for diabetes awareness, education and prevention in the Coastal Bend to apply for funding.
